Storm King, Bannerman Island and Breakneck Ridge
(from rocky ledge at Little Stony Point)

A glimpse of color amidst austere surroundings

Mt. Taurus (visible: quarry hole and a lone evergreen)

Frozen edges of the Hudson through the trees

Bare tips of bare branches

A visitor to the rocky ledge stands at the tip
The ledge, now unoccupied, a few minutes later; this time
with substantially reduced exposure
A parting look at Storm King and the ledge
