Hike Location: Roche Harbor and Lime Kiln Point State Park, San Juan Island, WA
Hike Description: San Juan Island is reachable from Seattle via the Victoria Clipper ferry from Pier 69 to Friday Harbor. To visit other points on the island, one can use the San Juan Island Transit shuttles (summer-only) or cabs. Roche Harbor is on the northern end of the island. There is a trailhead nearby. Lime Kiln Point State Park is located on the western shore and offers potential opportunities for whale-watching in addition to a pleasant stroll along a trail following the bluffs, with a lighthouse to boot.
