This was a short walk along the edge of Kaaterskill Creek to get to Kaaterskill Falls from the trailhead on NY Route 23A.

injuries and fatalities have occurred.
I just went a little way beyond this out of prudence since
I was hiking solo and encumbered with my photo gear)
