Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve

Location: Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve

Date: May 8, 2016

Heading out for a short Sunday hike at around 11:00 a.m., I decided to check out one of the open space preserves in the Southern part of Skyline Boulevard, an area I had not really explored so far. So off I headed on windy roads towards Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve for what turned out to be a lovely 2.5 hour hike on a cool cloudy afternoon, covering two loops - Horseshoe Lake and Ipiwa Trail to Alpine Pond.

Since I have almost stopped carrying my DSLR on nearby hikes after moving to the Bay Area (too lazy now to carry the weight, I suppose), I only have cellphone photos, but this hike was gorgeous enough to put them up here.
